Bird Sightings at Tyddyn Isaf: Annual Update 2024

Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Tyddyn Isaf Camping and Caravan Park is surrounded by a protected landscape teeming with rich biodiversity. This important location emphasizes the area’s ecological significance, ensuring that its stunning scenery and thriving habitats remain preserved.

The mature Wendy Wood woodland and the natural hedgerows that frame our park are thriving havens for a variety of bird species. Guests can often spot a range of species, from woodland birds to seabirds, making it a haven for both casual observers and avid birdwatchers. By being located within walking of Lligwy Beach, our guests will encounter seabirds which are rarely seen in urban environments.

We maintain a yearly record of bird sightings, contributed by both visitors and staff. This log helps us track seasonal patterns, identify returning species, and monitor changes in the bird population over time.

When you visit Tyddyn Isaf, you’re not just stepping into a beautiful and protected location—you’re becoming part of a community that values and nurtures the natural world which we wish to maintain for many generations to come. So pack your binoculars and enjoy the enchanting sights and sounds of nature right here on Anglesey.
