Cycling
Cycling

If you enjoy cycling then you will love exploring Anglesey under pedal power. Anglesey has several waymarked circular cycling routes, as well as being part of two national cycle routes. Each route allows you to marvel at the fantastic scenery that Anglesey has to offer, whilst providing opportunities to spot some of the islands beautiful wildlife. Whether you choose to join a set trail, or to explore the abundance of quiet country lanes, Anglesey is definitely a cyclists dream.

Local Walks

From Tyddyn Isaf you can access a multitude of footpaths that take you in every direction imaginable, so if you’re feeling active why not take a look at some of our favourite walks. You can choose to explore the coastal footpaths in either direction from Lligwy Beach, spotting the odd porpoise or dolphin as you travel. Alternatively, take a walk inland and ascend Bodafon Mountain. On a clear day you are guaranteed spectacular views across Anglesey to the Snowdonia Mountains or even the Isle of Man. If you don’t fancy the full 125 mile walk around Anglesey then don’t worry – there are 10 much easier circular routes that cover every corner of the island, from hidden monuments to coastal scenery.

Beaches
Beaches

Anglesey has over 125 miles of pristine coastline and is home to some of the country’s best beaches. Whether you are looking to bask on golden sand, surf the mighty waves, or scramble over iconic rock formations you can be assured of finding your perfect beach. Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park has its own footpath leading to Lligwy Beach. Lligwy is a large, gently shelving sandy beach which makes it ideal for swimming or sunbathing. To either side of the beach there are large cliffs, which at low tide are perfect for fishing or even exploring the many tantalising rock pools.

Be it ice creams and sweets, shampoos or washing powder, sun cream or Frisbees – We only have a small shop but we try to stock all of your holiday essentials. For a more comprehensive shop you can find a range of supermarkets, high street names, camping stores, garden centres and a huge range of independent stores and boutiques within a twenty minute drive of the park.
