Lligwy Bay is the closest beach to Tyddyn Isaf Camping and Caravan Park, and is a mere stones throw away from us.
Our guests can take advantage of accessing the beautiful sandy beach via our own idyllic private footpath which winds its way from the bottom of the caravan park to the left-hand car park of Lligwy beach.
Lligwy Bay is a gently shelving, sandy beach measuring approximately a mile in length. It is generally very sheltered which makes it ideal for paddling, swimming and kayaking.
It also has an expansive area of golden sand making it the perfect place for building sandcastles, sunbathing and playing beach games that can be found at The Market Place.

We are proud to be a dog-friendly caravan and campsite on Anglesey, and we are fortunate to have Lligwy Beach right on our doorstep which is dog-friendly all year round so that your four-legged companions can also experience the coast's freedom and make their own prints in the sand.
Lligwy Beach Highlights
Lligwy beach is perfect for watersport enthusiasts as it permits sea activities such as kite surfing, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.
Dolphins, porpoises, and seals have been spotted swimming amongst the waves at Lligwy Bay. They are often sighted from the coastal path which can be accessed from Tyddyn Isaf Camping and Caravan Park.
