Over £2,250 Raised for RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat

Supporting our local community has always been important to us and Tyddyn Isaf, and every year we try and hold a fundraising event to support our local lifeboat crew.  Living and working on the beautiful Anglesey coastline means we see first-hand the incredible work carried out by the volunteers of RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat and HM Coastguard, helping to keep our beaches and waters safe throughout the year.

That is why we were delighted to host our RNLI Family Fundraising Afternoon, bringing together our holiday home owners, touring guests, local businesses and visitors for an afternoon of community spirit, fundraising and fun.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, we are incredibly proud to announce that £2,252.35 was raised in support of RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat.

As a small family-run business we never take for granted the kindness and support shown by our customers and local community, and these once a year events are always a great success.  The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was fantastic, with our guests enjoying refreshments, raffle prizes, local produce, face painting and demonstrations, all while helping to raise vital funds for a cause that is so important to us as a park, and our visitors that spend their days on the beach.

We were also honoured to welcome the teams from RNLI Moelfre Seawatch and Moelfre Coastguard, who spent time chatting with visitors and sharing more about the essential role they play in protecting lives at sea.  Their dedication, professionalism and willingness to give up their own time for others is truly inspiring, and we’re so pleased to join together to support them each year

The event was made even more special by a wonderful selection of local stall holders, including:

  • Two Bridges Gin
  • Y Cwt Mwg
  • Fragile Elite
  • Pendraith Crafts

We are also incredibly grateful to the many local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes, helping us raise such an outstanding amount.  Their support demonstrates the strength of our local business community and its willingness to come together for a worthwhile cause.

Our sincere thanks go to:

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered or supported the event in any way, thank you.  Your generosity helped raise an incredible £2,252.35, (however the final total is likely to be in excess of £2500!) and we couldn’t have achieved it without you.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our future fundraising events and continuing to support the organisations that do so much for our local community.
