The Birds at Tyddyn Isaf

Birds are an integral part to many ecosystems and without them our world and landscape would look entirely different.

Tyddyn Isaf Camping and Caravan Park is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which means the surrounding area is recognised for its conservation value, and its designated title brings with it a protection of its natural landscape and its habitats.

Wendy Wood, the mature woodland here at Tyddyn Isaf, and the natural hedgerows that surround the park, are home to a variety of birds that can be spotted during your stay with us on Anglesey. As we are a campsite by the beach, you may also spot some fascinating seabirds that you may not witness within suburban areas.

Every year we keep a record of all the birds that have been sighted, and the time of the year we see them by our visitors and members of staff. By doing this, we can identify the returning species and the most common.

So far this year, we have recorded up to 70 species of birds! Below are list of the birds that have been spotted around Tyddyn Isaf Camping and Caravan Park.
