COVID-19 Update – 26th March 2021

We are delighted to announce that Wales is making progress in its move out of lockdown and from Saturday will move from Tier 4 to Tier 3. With this in mind, we will officially open our gates for the 2021 season on MONDAY 29TH MARCH 2021. As with last year, this will initially be with government-imposed restrictions.  To summarise these are:

You can only visit if you have self-contained accommodation – the definition of this is the requirement to have an onboard kitchen, shower and toilet facility.  Holiday home owners, touring caravans and motorhomes are therefore permitted to visit if they meet this requirement.

Shared facilities are to remain closed i.e. toilet & shower blocks, laundry facilities etc.

You can only visit to stay in accommodation with people that you live with.

You can only visit if you are legally allowed to do so and are not governed by travel restrictions of your own country.

As soon as we are legally permitted to re-open our amenity blocks we will do so, however the Welsh Government are yet to give us an indication of when this may be.  At present we do not anticipate that this will be prior to 1st May, and are therefore only accepting bookings from self-contained units between now and 1st May.  Other units are welcome to book for after this date. The poster below summarises some of the covid-19 precautions that we currently have in place across the park.   –Stay safe at Tyddyn
