The coast of Anglesey offers an abundance of different fishing options, and it would be impossible to detail them all! From Tyddyn Isaf the most accessible sea fishing options are Lligwy Bay and Moelfre.
|Anglers can often be found fishing off the headland below the coastal footpath between Lligwy and Moelfre. There are several areas of flat rocks which are ideal for day of night fishing. In the summer you are most likely to encounter large shoals of Mackerel, but also expect to hook Bass, Codling, Dogfish, Dabs, Plaice, Pollock, Strap Conger, Whiting and Wrasse.
The beach itself at Lligwy can get busy during the summer making day time fishing tricky. However, in the evenings just before low tide you can expect to hook Dabs, Flounder, Plaice and Whiting.
