Family Days Out

There are so many family attractions on Anglesey, and around the North Wales coast that it would be incredibly difficult to document them all. We have tried to summarise the best, but this is by no means a comprehensive list. Don’t worry though…we have dozens of leaflets on all the local attractions available in our on-site information centre.


Local walks

95% of Anglesey’s 125 mile coastal walk is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From Tyddyn Isaf alone there are a multitude of footpaths that can take you in every direction imaginable, so if you’re feeling active why not take a look at some of the walks available to you.

General cycling 2


If you enjoy cycling then Anglesey has several circular routes that may appeal to you. Each route allows you to marvel at the fantastic scenery that Anglesey has to offer, whilst providing ample opportunities to spot some of the islands beautiful wildlife.


Horse Riding

Anglesey has some fantastic horse riding opportunities for beginners and advanced riders, with nearly all of our stables offering lessons or beach hacks in magnificent surroundings.

For such a small island, Anglesey has a surprising number of golf courses. In total there are 9 courses, all of which are tactically challenging. Choose between perfectly manicured parklands at Henllys, or bunker-free Baron Hill. Whichever the course, there’s one thing that you’re guaranteed of – spectacular views!
