Out and About

Anglesey is also known as “Mon Mam Cymru”. This literally translates as “The Mother of Wales”. This beautiful small island has an abundance of things to do and see – whether you’re looking to explore the many beaches and coves or to seek shelter in an indoor attraction – Anglesey has something for everyone.

There is so much to do in Anglesey, and along the North Wales coast , that it would be impossible to compile a list of everywhere worth a visit. We have therefore picked a selection of the best!

You really could spend a lifetime just touching the surface, so if you feel inspired and don’t have time to fit it all in, why not book again for next year!

Lligwy Bay from Tyddyn Isaf

Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline, and is home to some of the country’s best beaches. Lligwy Bay was even given the accolade of one of the ‘Ten Best Picnic Spots by the Sea’ by Coast Magazine. Use our guide to decide whether to visit rocky coves, or luxurious golden sandy beaches.
