Tyddyn Isaf Caravan and camping park is sited on 2 sloping and one level field overlooking Lligwy Bay.
The park is large and spacious; the distance from the main entrance to the path to the beach at the bottom of the park is 550 metres, the width of the park is 130 metres.
The path to the beach is 1200mm wide, relatively flat with access through two gates, with 800mm clearance between gateposts and is 130 metres long. The surface is compacted 20mm clean stone.
Tyddyn Isaf slopes from the main entrance to the path to the beach. The slope can be as steep as 10% (1 in 10) but is generally about 5% (1 in 20).
Hedgerows divide the park into small discrete areas.
The park has three toilet blocks; the main toilet block is situated halfway down the park. The two smaller toilet blocks are situated at the top of the park nearer the main camping areas. All toilet blocks have ramped access and no steps.
The toilet block adjacent to the camping area has two 1.8 x 1.8 meter individual bathrooms, and one 1.8 x 1.8 meter shower room with seat. There are also two stainless steel dishwashing sinks. This building has full under floor heating and automatic lighting.
Tyddyn Isaf caters for Tents, Touring Caravans and has privately owned holiday homes.
The majority of pitches are on grass; some touring caravans are on concrete hardstands with the awning area on grass.
Parking on the grass beside your caravan or tent is allowed.
Assistance in pitching on arrival is always offered.
Tarmac roads service all parts of the park and speed ramps are placed every 50 metres.
The reception area and bar has a large tarmac car park, however there is only parking for one car at the main toilet block.
Access to the shop and reception is directly from the car park; the shop door is 830mm wide. There is ample room within for a wheelchair to manoeuvre.
Access to the bar is by a ramped path of 1 in 20 slope. Double doors open to 1800mm wide. The Bar occupies two floors, the TV and pool table is upstairs on the first floor. The bar is downstairs and tables and chairs could restrict movement with a wheelchair.
The patio area outside the bar is fully accessible by wheelchair.
The small toilet block, which is behind the bar patio is fully accessible by wheelchair and has been designed specifically for use by disabled customers. Facilities include the usual toilet and wash hand basin plus a wheelchair accessible shower. Grab rails are fitted throughout this bathroom.
There are numerous water points, chemical toilet disposal points, dustbin areas, recycling points and fire points on the park and should be no further than 50 meters away from any pitch, however these facilities are adjacent to roads and accessible by car.
There is a local bus service at the end of the lane 1000 metres from the park entrance and local taxis service the park.

Mobile telephone coverage is poor in this area.
Free Wi Fi access is available within 50 metres of the Bar and Restaurant.
