Wildflower Meadows at Tyddyn Isaf
Our traditional wildflower meadows make fantastic hay and silage. We use these crops to feed our Welsh Black cattle and our sheep.
Making hay is more complicated than you think, and is completed over several days.
Most importantly, we have to keep a close eye on the weather forecast as the crop can only be taken when a few days of sunshine are forecast - in fact sunshine and a gentle breeze make perfect hay making conditions!
